Depending on where you are traveling from, you may require a visa for your trip to Bangkok. Here’s what you need to know.

/Do I need a visa to travel into Thailand?

Visas may be required to gain entry into Thailand. We recommend that you check with the Thai Embassy for the latest travel information and check back regularly for updates before you travel.

Please note that delegates or visitors who wish to attend an exhibition in Thailand are considered “MICE tourist” which they should apply for tourist visa, not business visa.

“Foreigners entering Thailand for MICE without the purposes of being employed or working for income, but being event attendants will be regarded as tourists under the definition of Tourism Authority of Thailand Act of B.E. 2522 (1979)."

If you do require a visa, we recommend that you plan your application in advance to leave plenty of time to get organised. You will find a useful template for generating Visa Invitation letters if you need them for your trip directly in your Money20/20 Account by navigating to Purchased Orders> Delegate pass> Options> Request Visa Letter.

/I have secured my pass. How can I download my Visa Invitation Letter?

To download a Visa Invitation Letter from Money20/20, simply navigate to your Money20/20 Account and follow these steps: Purchased Orders> Delegate pass> Options> Request Visa Letter and enter your passport and travel details. Once complete, click on Submit Request and you will be able to automatically download a PDF of your personalised Visa Invitation letter.

If the name on your registration differs from the one on your passport or if you are not the account holder of the booking, don’t worry, just contact the Delegates Team with the details and we will be able to assist you.
