Srinivas Chamarthy is the Director of Engineering, Pricing & Promotions at Flipkart. In this role, he leads the Pricing and Promotions platforms at Flipkart that price for all products in the catalogue. He is also responsible for building a pricing insights and recommendations data-driven platform that uses signals such as CI and model-driven data analytics to provide actionable insights to sellers and drive profitability.
Among his other highlights, Srinivas drove the design and implementation of a system for the Flipkart Assurance program that defined the product quality at Flipkart. He is also responsible for the design and implementation of the Flash sales model at Flipkart that is characterized by a high demand and scale.
He also built a one-stop shop for brands that enables brands to manage inventory and the seller ecosystem.
In his prior roles, Srinivas has also managed the New Services Incubation (NSI) organization that serves as an ideation hub, spurs innovation and implements ideas that have a disruptive scope while adding new business lines and revenue to the company. In his overall 18 years of experience as a technologist and in managing technical engineering teams, in the past he has also worked with organizations such as Amazon, Cisco, Accenture and Zintec Software.
In his experience, Srinivas has a proven track record of driving organic innovation, managing distributed systems at scale and contributing to significant organizational growth. Srinivas holds a Master of Computer Applications from Aurora's PG College, Hyderabad, India. He is also a PMP, from PMI, and has also achieved certifications such as OCMJEA and SCJP and has a patent that is pending.
