Aaron is the Founder and CEO of Libeara, a Singapore-based fintech rebuilding capital markets on-chain through compliance-first tokenisation. Prior founding Libeara, he held various director roles in UBS, Woori I&S and mostly recently Head of Capital Markets, ASEAN at Standard Chartered Bank.

Under his leadership, Libeara’s infrastructure has brought more than US$800 million in regulated assets on-chain. Backed by SC Ventures by Standard Chartered, Libeara has an in-principle approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) operates under existing securities frameworks.

Aaron advocates for tokenisation that reduces intermediaries, not just replaces them, putting users back in control. He champions using the century-long evolution of securities laws for investor protection while warning against models that recreate the same risks that have destabilised markets in the past.
