Biography

Alma is a Spanish girl, who has lived abroad for over 13 years, with a focus and passion for technology, its impact across many industries and dreams of improving people’s lives through the right usage of technology.

Alma holds a MBA, focused on Strategic Leadership, from Hult Business School; she started the programme in Boston and finished it in San Francisco Campus, combining the best of two topics she wants to have a meaningful impact in (healthcare and education)- she took part of Hult Prize, where Bill Clinton’s foundation provides $1M to the best idea- she worked at Oracle, BMC Software (in Ireland, Dublin), MWCongress (Barcelona) or Web Summit (Dublin), before pursuing one of her dreams which was working in a tech company in North America; after finishing her MBA, she commenced her career in NYC, working for a fintech boutique startup.

Currently is working for a company called Money20/20 where she heads the RiseUp & Amplify programs which are mainly focused on women, minorities and underrepresented communities empowerment and give them a platform to be heard/seen anywhere in the financial industry.

She’s a firm believer that the world would be a much better place if we all had 0 expectations

about others and work towards union and more love.
