Alvin Chia is the Head of Digital Assets Innovation for Asia Pacific at Northern Trust. He spearheads the development of market-leading innovations that advance Northern Trust’s digital asset strategy, focusing on tokenization, blockchain integration and next-generation market infrastructure. Alvin works closely with FinTechs, industry associations, regulators, and government agencies to shape the evolution of digital assets ecosystems across the region. He holds a PhD from the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is also an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
