Ankit Upadhyay is the Founder and General Partner of A2D Ventures, a digital-first startup investing platform connecting founders with a global network of angel investors, VC funds and family offices backing early-stage startups across Southeast Asia.

Through A2D Ventures, Ankit has built a global, cross-border community of angel investors, fund managers and family offices, supporting founders not only with capital but also strategic guidance, and access to global networks. He is also the driving force behind Venture Spark, an accelerator designed to help early-stage founders in Thailand and VentureGrid, a platform connecting founders globally with experienced operators, investors, and experts for tactical mentorship.

Alongside his work in venture, Ankit serves as a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, advising on strategy and innovation in the semiconductor industry.

Prior to building A2D, he worked across management consulting, e-commerce, and advanced manufacturing, including roles at Shopee, McKinsey & Co., UTAC and SanDisk.
