Oz has been the CEO of two international banks spanning over seven years, seeing improved financial performance and award recognitions for the banks in sustainability and digital banking.

In 2018, he was awarded Islamic Banker of the Year by The Asset AAA in their global Islamic finance awards and in 2024 FinTech Leader by GIFA.
