Benjamin Lee is the Chief Operating Officer of Nexus Global Payments (NGP), leading the operationalisation of Nexus — the multilateral network connecting domestic fast‑payment systems to deliver seamless, instant cross‑border payments. He brings deep experience in central banking, international finance and financial infrastructure, with a strong focus on payments innovation and regional connectivity.

Benjamin has been involved in Nexus since its inception, serving as Product Owner and Implementation Lead before joining NGP’s Executive Management Team. He helped guide Nexus from a BIS Innovation Hub experiment into a Singapore‑based, not‑for‑profit entity co‑owned by participating central banks.

Previously, Benjamin was a senior member of the BISIH Singapore Centre and held leadership roles at the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Ministry of Finance Singapore.
