Changbin is the Managing Director of the American Express Singapore Decision Science Centre of Excellence where he leads the overall operations of Singapore Decision Science including ensuring operational excellence, colleague engagement and talent management. Concurrently, he continues to lead the Global Consumer Risk and Regulatory Decision Science team. He joined American Express in 2003 and has held various key roles in the company, including customer management, implementing targeted retention strategies, and operational risk modeling for Basel and CCAR compliance. Changbin earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, a Masters and Bachelors degree in Applied Mechanics from Fudan University in Shanghai. Outside of work, Changbin is kept busy with one lovely son and his passion for woodwork.
