Appointed in April 2023, Chavi Jafa is the Head of Commercial and Money Movement Solutions for Visa in Asia Pacific. She is responsible for expanding Visa’s network beyond consumer-to-merchant payments, driving new business opportunities and enabling new ways to move money for clients and partners across the region.

Prior to this, Chavi was the Head of Business Solutions for regions including Asia Pacific, India, and South Asia. Before joining Visa, she worked with Citibank’s Transaction Banking business, managing cash management and commercial card products globally. A career banker and payments expert, she has worked across New York, India, and Singapore and led key relationships across corporate and public-sector organisations.

She holds a Master’s from Columbia University and mentors graduate students and early-stage startups.
