As the Chief Operating Officer of SBI Digital Markets, CK Ong is responsible for strategy execution, and he also leads business development for tokenised Real-World Assets. He oversees operations at SBIDM and has built an institutional-grade risk management framework. CK is a highly experienced professional in global and regional banks – with close to 20 years’ experience in strategy, operations and risk management across financial markets, transaction banking, and digital assets.

Prior to joining SBI Digital Markets, CK was in Singapore-headquartered United Overseas Bank’s Strategic Blockchain and Digital Assets unit which drives blockchain strategy and applications for the bank. Before that, CK held senior positions in UOB, and Standard Chartered Bank for 10 years in Singapore, Korea, and China where he specialised in setting up new businesses for the bank.
