As one of Stripe's early employees, Daren witnessed the company's rapid growth helping businesses process online payments. After relocating from Stripe's San Francisco headquarters to Singapore, he played a key role in establishing their APAC operations. Recognizing the challenges businesses face in managing financial operations, Daren identified a market opportunity to address these issues using stablecoin and blockchain technologies, leading him to found Reap with his childhood friend, Kevin Kang.
