Devendra Verma is the Business Lead for Digital Assets at Swift, where he spearheads strategic client engagements for the Shared Digital Ledger initiative. In this capacity, he partners with global financial institutions to drive the integration of digital assets into the global financial ecosystem, ensuring seamless interoperability and strategic alignment.

Prior to this role, Devendra served as Head of Global Strategic Relations for Asia Pacific, managing high-value partnerships with leading global banks. With over 20 years of leadership experience across the UK, Hong Kong, and India, he is a recognized expert in payments transformation and relationship management. His career includes a significant tenure as Senior Vice President at HSBC, where he led large-scale international payment and currency clearing initiatives across APAC.

Devendra began his career at Kotak Mahindra Bank in India, focusing on e-banking innovation. He is currently based in Hong Kong.
