Djasur Djumaev, founder and CEO of Uzum, is a tech entrepreneur, venture investor, and business angel spearheading the digital economy of Central Asia. In addition to Uzum, Mr Djumaev was also involved in a number of different ventures, including Kupikupon, a discount services platform that had over 15 million users in CIS, Baltics, and Central Asia by the end of 2022. Another business founded by Mr Djumaev earlier is engaged in the development of platform solutions, specialized software, and content services for telecom operators and digital service providers in СIS, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Kenya, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Ethiopia etc. He is also a business angel investor in a number of major technology projects across the globe.
