Fernanda is a Partner and Co-head of LeapFrog Investments' Asian financial services team, responsible for originating investments and driving value and growth across the diverse portfolio. With over 20 years of experience in private equity, she began her career in PE at AIG Global Investment Group in London in 2002, shifting her focus exclusively to Asia in 2008, where she employs an active management approach. Her team’s mission is to enhance and scale the delivery of essential services to emerging consumers and MSMEs throughout the region, making portfolio companies attractive to strategics or the capital markets. She has invested in companies in Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, where she has held Board seats and leadership roles managing diverse teams, Boards and senior staff.
