Dr. Florian Becker is the Managing Director for APAC and GCC at GFT, leading digital transformation for some of the world’s top financial institutions. Since joining GFT in 2018, he has been instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint across Asia and the Middle East through strategic partnerships and high-impact innovation.

He has a proven track record in P&L leadership, sales, and consulting, with hands-on involvement in more than 10 successful digital banking go-lives across the region. Under his leadership, GFT has delivered landmark projects in digital banking, digital assets, and digital money, co-creating next-generation platforms with clients and partners.

Florian also played a key role in the launch of the Universal Digital Payments Network (UDPN), a global initiative for CBDCs and stablecoins. Recognized with Germany’s prestigious Top 40 under 40 Management Award by Capital Magazine, he is a sought-after speaker and active contributor to global thought leadership.
