Fozia Amanulla is the Chief Executive Officer of Boost Bank, Malaysia’s first primarily homegrown digital bank, known for its innovative embedded banking app. A subsidiary of Boost, the fintech arm of Axiata, Boost Bank appointed Fozia as CEO on 15 January 2024. She joined Boost in 2022 as Deputy CEO of Boost Credit, the group’s AI-driven micro-financing arm, and concurrently served as CEO Designate for the digital bank.

Prior to Boost, Fozia was Chief Business Development Officer at Alliance Bank, where she led SME digital transformation, and previously served as CEO of Alliance Islamic Bank (2017–2021). Her career spans leadership roles across investment banking, corporate and SME banking, and Islamic finance. She has also served on the boards of CIIF and AllianceDBS Research. Fozia holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Humberside, is a Chartered Banker, and a Fellow Chartered Member of the CIIF.
