Biography

Ian is the EU Head of Content at Money20/20 and a core part of the team that creates and curates the agenda for the annual show in Amsterdam. His primary professional interests are personal finance, wealthtech, and decentralised finance, and his first book, Why DeFi Matters, was published internationally in 2023. He is an occasional host of the MoneyPot Podcast, featured at the shows in Amsterdam, Las Vegas and Bangkok.

Prior to joining Money20/20 Ian was the host Citywire’s WealthTech Show podcast and the writer of its weekly tech newsletter, while leading a networking team for the wealth and financial advice markets. Outside of finance, Ian has interviewed leading figures in tennis and country music.
