Janet Salem is the co-founder of FootprintLab, which enriches financial data with global supply chain ESG data. Janet spent 17 years at the United Nations working on sustainability in Vienna, Paris and Bangkok. She is also a PhD candidate on integration of sustainability data into fintech, and has Bachelor and Masters degrees in Engineering from the University of New South Wales. She is the 2022 winner of the Ada Lovelace Medal which recognises excellence in engineering. With clients around the world, FootprintLab is showing that the global finance sector can take leadership on sustainability.
