Biography

Joseph Joshy is Chief Technology Officer and Chief General Manager, Head of Dept for FinTech Sandbox, Financial Support Services(FSS) Supervision & IT at International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), a unified financial sector regulator for IFSCs established as a statutory authority by the Government of India. His primary focus is on FinTech Innovation, Supervision, SupTech, AI, Data Protection/Privacy, Cyber Security, Quantum etc. Prior to this, he was part of the Management team (Sr Vice President/Vertical Head) that co-founded Reserve Bank Information Technology (ReBIT), the IT Subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India(RBI). He had worked on RBI’s Technology Vision and was associated with numerous Technology Projects for 25+ RBI Departments spanning across Inspection, Supervision, Enforcement, Risk Monitoring, Currency Management, Foreign Exchange, Consumer Education and Protection among others. He has about 27 years of experience delivering transformational projects for Government/Regulators and F100 clients with stints in the US, Canada, Mexico and India.
