Kah Kit is the Head of Blockchain and Digital Assets at UOB Group. He has extensive experience across central banking and financial innovation, having held key roles at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and Central Bank of Malaysia (BNM).

Kah Kit co-led several groundbreaking initiatives at BIS, including Project Nexus, which developed a next-generation multilateral fast payment network, Project Mandala which pioneered a programmable compliance model and Project Rialto which devised next-gen FX settlement protocols. At BNM, he spearheaded Malaysia’s migration to digital payments and was instrumental in advancing exploratory work on tokenisation, CBDCs, and digital assets. Kah Kit holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), United Kingdom.
