Biography

Ketut Sulistyawati (Sulis) is an Experience Design consultant with 20 years of expertise in research, strategy, and design. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in design, an Executive MBA, and a PhD in Human Factors from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Sulis began her career as a UX designer in several Global Design Studios in Singapore before founding Somia Customer Experience in 2012. Based in Indonesia, her consultancy blends international expertise with a deep appreciation of local cultures and nuances. Sulis specializes in delivering end-to-end solutions—from insights and design to field experimentation—for both international and local clients, particularly in financial services. Driven by her mission to infuse humanity into everyday design and future innovations, her work reflects a thoughtful integration of global perspectives and grounded, culturally informed insights.
