Kohei Ueda is the Head of Digital Transformation, Global Transaction Banking Department at Mizuho Bank, Limited. Based in Singapore, he leads the overall DX initiatives globally with a focus on transaction banking related services/products. He engages actively with government authorities, regulators, financial institutions and corporates to implement new services to clients by leveraging the latest technologies.

Prior to joining Mizuho, Kohei was Head of Digital Channels and Data Unit at Citibank Tokyo Branch. He drove digital onboarding and digital channel business development and policy advisory efforts.

Kohei previously served at Mizuho Bank, Ltd before joining to Citibank Tokyo Branch. He was the head of Blockchain team, Digital Innovation Department at Mizuho Financial Group and he has 15 years of experience in Transaction Banking business.
