Currently the Managing Director of Innovation Centre, Group Strategy at CIMB, Monica is managing teams of advisory, research, design, product, software engineering and lately AI and automation in a do-it-all fashion. She founded the accelerator style lab in the bank, adopting rapid cycles of idea-to-launch, whilst also spearheads large scale transformations as top down strategic initiatives. Monica has experiences of delivering first-in-market products in a test and learn approach, focusing on fintech across multiple Asian countries. In her different roles, she has built internal innovation teams from employee zero, setup digital banking services in a large scale startup, and lately building company-wide capabilities in AI and low/no-code tools for employees.
