Mr. Nik Mohamed Din bin Nik Musa is the Director General of Labuan FSA, the regulatory authority for the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre, a position he has held since 1 May 2021. Prior to this, he was the Director of Money Services Business Regulation at Bank Negara Malaysia from 2016, where he oversaw the regulation and development of cross-border remittance, currency exchange, and wholesale currency business. From 2006 to 2016, he played a key role in developing Malaysia’s sukuk market and promoting its global awareness.

Mr. Nik has been with Bank Negara Malaysia since 1991, serving in various capacities, including in bank regulation, Islamic banking, takaful, and international finance development in the Labuan IBFC. He holds a Chartered Banker certificate from the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers, a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, and an MBA from the University of Warwick.
