Nischint Sanghavi is the Head of Digital Currencies for Visa in Asia Pacific. In this role, he leads Visa’s digital currency team across the region, with responsibility for developing and scaling new revenue streams, partnerships, and commercial opportunities across the digital asset ecosystem. Nischint also serves as Visa’s subject matter expert for digital currency and Web3 engagements in Asia Pacific, supporting client‑facing teams in engagements with banks, fintechs, regulators, and blockchain infrastructure providers. As part of his remit, he oversees emerging crypto, stablecoin, central bank digital currency (CBDC) and tokenised deposit initiatives, including regional go‑to‑market strategies and pilot programmes. Nischint brings over two decades of experience across financial services, payments, and digital assets, spanning roles in both traditional institutions and high-growth crypto platforms.
