Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj was Thailand’s first Minister of Digital Economy and Society during 2016-2019. Prior to that he was Minister for Science and Technology. An outstanding career in the field of public policy and management, he has laid the foundation of the country’s new economy encompassing the development of policies and strategic implementations of science, technology, innovation and digital technology that timely help empowering the progress in trade, industry, finance, agriculture, education. His work in promoting startups and entrepreneurship ecosystem since 2014 has provided opportunities that nurture the young generation to enhance their creativities.
