With 18 years’ experience in financial services, Richard drives the global growth and strategic direction of the Network. He is responsible for enabling seamless, secure access to liquidity, custodians, and trading venues for the world’s leading financial institutions, while developing advanced risk management solutions—such as Off Exchange Settlement to safeguard capital and mitigate counterparty risk across the ecosystem.

Prior to Fireblocks, Richard was instrumental in building and scaling Covario’s trade desk from the ground up, achieving trading volumes exceeding $100 million per month. His expertise in digital assets is also rooted in his work with Swiss Crypto Vault, where he played a key role in launching the company and growing its market share to over $1 billion in assets under management within 18 months.
