Roman Lavrentyev is a seasoned executive with over a decade of experience in fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, and logistics, spanning Russia, East Africa, and Central Asia.

Since 2022 Roman has served as COO at Uzum, Uzbekistan’s leading digital ecosystem, where he oversees strategic operations and platform growth across fintech, e-commerce, and logistics verticals.

Prior to Uzum, he held leadership roles at SiFox in Nairobi, first as Chief Product Officer and then as CEO, driving telecom product innovation for operators like Orange, Airtel, Safaricom, Beeline, Megafon, Tele2, Yota.

Earlier, he worked as Product Owner at PimPay, a B2B fintech service for e-commerce, and served as Chief Commercial Officer at Arenza.ru, where he scaled SMB leasing services.

Roman is also the founder of two logistics ventures: Logarifma.pro, a cloud-based logistics platform, and ARS-Shipping, both generating multimillion-dollar revenues and successful exits.

He holds a degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business
