Mr. Rup Ratan Pine is an Executive Director at Bangladesh Bank, the Central bank of Bangladesh, with a distinguished career in Banking Regulation & Policy, Financial Inclusion, Agricultural Credit, Debt Management and in some other important departments with distinguished track record. He possesses extensive expertise in formulating prudential policies, ensuring financial system stability, and driving national financial inclusion strategies. Mr. Pine played a key role in introducing Bangladesh's first Shariah-based government investment Sukuk and currently leads policy implementation for marginal and underserved populations. He also represents Bangladesh Bank on the Alliance for Financial Inclusion's(AFI) Intergovernmental Organization Special Committee(IGOSC). Mr Pine has achieved BB Employee's Recognition Award, 2013. An experienced educator, he has served as a visiting faculty member at several institutions. Mr. Pine is a dedicated advocate for govt. debt policy, financial literacy, and building resilient, inclusive financial infrastructure.
