Puan Sarah leads the teams at Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Treasury & Markets, Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Stockbroking in driving business growth, enhancing customer experience via creation of strong synergies across the business and building operational excellence.

Prior to joining Bank Islam, Puan Sarah was Managing Director of Client Coverage at Maybank Investment Bank. She held several senior roles within Maybank Group, including Head of Strategy & Director of Human Capital for Group Global Banking Business, and Chief Risk Officer & Head of Strategy & Finance at Maybank Islamic. She contributed to advancing Islamic banking in key markets and led business transformations across wholesale banking. She also served at CIMB Islamic, KPMG Business Advisory, and Ernst & Young.

Puan Sarah holds an MSc in Finance & Investment from the University of Durham, United Kingdom.
