Shinichi Takatori is the Founder & CEO of Kyash, a leading Japanese fintech startup redefining how payments work in everyday life. Kyash offers a digital wallet built on a unique, self-developed infrastructure layer, combining issuer processing and payout technology.

The company has raised over $120M from leading investors, including all three Japanese megabank groups, Block (formerly Square), Japan Post Investment, and global venture capital firms such as Goodwater Capital, Altos Ventures, and Greyhound Capital.

With over a decade of experience across fintech, banking, and technology strategy—including roles at one of Japan’s megabanks and a U.S.-based consulting firm—Shinichi is passionate about expanding financial access and driving innovation at the intersection of finance and technology. He holds a B.A. from Waseda University and previously served as a board member of the Fintech Association of Japan.
