Since joining Merpay/Mercoin, Takeshi has consistently driven growth and innovation. Merpay offers QR code payments, credit services, and lending, and is one of the fastest growing products in Japan's Fintech sector. Mercoin recorded the most registered accounts in Japan's crypto space.

Takeshi started his career at NTT Communications, later joined Amazon Japan, and then bitFlyer, where he served as Head of Executive Business Strategy. Takeshi holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Hitotsubashi University.
