Biography
Veronica Colondam established YCAB Foundation in 1999 to combat generational poverty through innovative education and financing, impacting >5 million underprivileged youth and mothers. Under her leadership, YCAB earned the 28th spot among the Top 100 NGOs in the World (Geneva, 2024), and Veronica herself was honored with two United Nations awards (Vienna 2001; New York 2017). She holds the titles of Asia21 Leader, World Economic Forum's Young Global Leader and Social Entrepreneur, as well as being recognized as one of Forbes' 48 Asian Philanthropists.
She also serves as an Independent Commissioner for PT. PNM, the world's largest microfinance institution, and holds the position of Chairperson at AVPN — the leading social investment network in Asia, dedicated to boosting capital flow for impactful initiatives. Furthermore she is a published author and an accomplished speaker, but above all, she takes immense pride in her role as a mother to three grown children.
