As Principal of Research and Consulting at TransUnion, he helps financial institutions, FinTechs, and regulators unlock sustainable growth through advanced analytics and compelling storytelling.

With more than a decade of experience spanning Africa and Asia, Sun brings a global perspective on consumer credit markets. His research has shaped industry dialogue on responsible lending and credit innovation across emerging economies. Prior to joining TransUnion, he led strategy and innovation at Absa Insurance Company. Sun holds a master’s degree in financial management sciences from the University of Pretoria.
