Yam Ki Chan is Vice President for Asia Pacific at Circle, where he leads partnerships and market expansion across the region. Since joining Circle, he has played a key role in pioneering partnerships and advising regulatory and business stakeholders on the transformative potential of stablecoins in unlocking economic opportunities for individuals and enterprises.
Prior to Circle, Yam Ki held strategy and public policy roles at Google Payments and Google Cloud, focusing on partnership strategy, market expansion, and government affairs.
Before Google, he served as Director for Global and Asia Economics at the White House National Security Council in the Obama Administration, coordinating U.S. economic strategy in Asia and contributing to G-20 and G-7 negotiations. He previously worked at the U.S. Treasury’s Office of the US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue and the Committee on Foreign Investment. Earlier in his career, he worked in technology investment banking at Jefferies in Silicon Valley.
