Director, Business Development - India and South Asia, Uber

Nandini Maheshwari is the Head of business development for Uber India and South Asia. She has built key strategic partnerships, spanning both private and public sector to unlock growth in a market of global strategic importance for Uber over the past 4 years. Her mandate covers our rides business, new mobility initiatives, payments-related partnerships, capturing new green spaces and other strategic relationships. 

Payment services are at the core of delivering Uber’s magical experiences and Nandini has led Uber’s financial products/payments strategy since initial days in India South Asia region. She has developed a differentiated partner ecosystem (top banks, networks, wallets, tech companies) in ridesharing and a series of India-first innovations and delivered the highest ever share of digital transactions for Uber.  Prior to Uber, she was an investment banker at JPMorgan in New York advising clients on M&A and IPO - executed multi-billion transactions for Verizon, Visa and Blackberry, amongst others. With over a decade of experience across US, Europe and India, she has been a key advisor to clients in technology, media and telecom sector. 

 She holds a Bachelors in Technology from IIT Bombay and an MBA with Honors from University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She serves on the Global Board of Women at Uber (employee resource group). 

She enjoys reading, travel and theater. She lives with her husband and daughter in Gurgaon.
