The next phase of payments is already taking shape - but not evenly. Parts of the ecosystem are moving quickly, experimenting with tokenised money and becoming fluent in the language of Web3. Others are still hesitating, questioning whether the shift is real or where it fits within their strategy. The result is a fragmented landscape - rapid innovation alongside uncertainty.

For now its a priority to bring the ecosystem onto the same page. Tokenised money is not just a technological evolution - it represents a shift in how value is created, moved and trusted. Ensuring that banks, PSPs and innovators move forward with a shared understanding will be critical to unlocking its full potential and avoiding a divide between those who are ready and those left catching up.
