Under his leadership, Bayad secured key regulatory licenses, launched its Real-Time Posting (RTP) innovation, and expanded its ecosystem to over 130,000 physical touchpoints, reaching more than 100 million subscribers through its digital partners.

Before Bayad, Lawrence held senior leadership roles at Smart Communications and PayMaya, where he helped pioneer groundbreaking innovations such as Smart Money and Smart Padala, shaping the region’s digital payments landscape.
